Spirit Centre interior

Spirit Centre wishes you all a peaceful, abundant and fulfilling 2012! There is lots happening at Spirit Centre this year and you are invited to use and get involved with your community centre in whatever way suits you best.

Ongoing projects at Spirit Centre, 2012 include a community garden on its beautiful site in Riverwood House, Nuns Island, beside the canal. Galway’s Garden of Transition is being developed along the lines of a permaculture project that is in keeping with the Spirit Centre ethos and is also a Transition Town initiative.

Also ongoing is Quiet Space at Spirit Centre! Quiet Space is a time for you to drop-in to Spirit Centre where you can find a quiet space to be for an hour in the heart of our lovely city every weekday, Mon-Fri, lunchtime, 1-2 pm. It’s an opportunity for quietness, stillness and to reflect or to check out the Spirit Centre library or perhaps stretch or do yoga. It’s a good time to pick up a Spirit Centre timetable of regular events or write or meditate.
